Full Description

Sherwood Lodge (now Notts Constabulary H.Q.). The late C18 mansion has been replaced by a CLASP office building. (1)
Occupies the site of the old Sherwood Lodge. Certain other buildings … have been retained and converted for use by the police for stores and printing workshops. The headquarters was planned to use the flat plateau formerly occupied by Sherwood Lodge, while retaining existing landscape. As several seams of coal are present under the site, the CLASP Mark V System of construction was adopted. Completed in April 1979. Architect: H. T. Swain. (2)
