Full Description

In 1955 the CLASP system … was developed in Notts. Among more successful results [is] the County Hall extension (1960-4). By the County Architect (W. D. Lacey), [it] is preferable to the ponderous neo-Georgian original, its lighter vein quite appropriate to the riverside. (1)
See M17516 for the building of 1937-46.

Mostly demolished in 2017, only the range directly onto the embankment remains. (2)
