Full Description

A large early Victorian classical statue moved in 1977 from London. The subject of the 10½ foot high statue is Hercules, carved in 1850-51 for the Geological Museum in South Kensington. [It was] carved … under the supervision of Charles Harriott Smith (1792-1864). (1)
