Rendered nineteenth century crossing house with modern windows and flat roofed extension. (1)
The Midland Railway line to Lincoln was constructed in 1846. T. C. Hine was the company architect and this building bears a striking resemblance to his listed railway buildings in Sneinton, Thurgarton and Lowdham. (2)
