Full Description
St Alban, London Road. 1901-3 by Hodgson Fowler. Ashlar, Perp, with a large W window. Nave and aisles, but instead of a tower a little spire on the tall N transept. (1)
Original building by Charles Hodgson Fowler (of Durham). Front extension of 1930-1 by Wood & Oakley (of Newcastle-upon-Tyne). (2)
