The Moot Hall, a replica (1967) of the original of 1708, with the arms of John Holles, Duke of Newcastle, whose manorial moot hall it was. (1)
Civic Trust Awards: Commendation. The reconstruction of an early eighteenth century building following a public enquiry resulting from a provisional building preservation order. Designer: Robert W. Ingrams, Currys ltd Staff Architect. (2)
