Addition [to hotel] c.1870. Restored and remodelled c.1990. (1)
Appears to have been built as the Nottingham and Notts Bank, designed by Watson Fothergill. Originally faced in polychrome stonework with a triangular bay window and Fothergill's distinctive squat Gothic columns. Now very much altered. (2)
