10 almshouses. c.1934. Designed by Cecil T. Howitt [sic] for the Miss M. E. Hardstaff Charity. (1)
Not far from the church is the delightful crescent of 12 Mary Elizabeth Almshouses. The crescent has won for its architect, T. C. Howitt, the Architect's Bronze Medal. (2)
