Full Description

Morph: 188.44.1 Settlement. (1)
A 'T' shaped double ditched cropmark, which together with an earthwork hollow leading from it into the field to the E, almost certainly represents a [medieval] lane. It might be interpreted as a parallel (I.e. back) lane, or even precursor to the modern main street through South Muskham. The relatively dense scatter of medieval pot sherds included earlier medieval wares. The cropmarks include at least one small rectangle that could indicate a building. (2)
See M18037 for settlement to S.
