Full Description

Brick bridge dated 1786 or 96, carrying a farm access track over the Rainworth Water. Rufford saw mill was extended in the late eighteenth century and I would assume that this structure is part of an improvement programme on waterways feeding the mill lake (i.e. Rainworth Water and the Gallow Hole Dyke). The structure lies just inside the registered park boundary. (1)
