Full Description

Site SW of Rolleston, in field W of church. Pickering '70 shows ring ditch and enclosures to the N. (1) (2) (3)
These markings, indicative of occupation, are situate ... above the adjacent Trent flood plain. At the time of investigation they were under cereal crop and a full perambulation was not possible. The crop height, despite wind whipping, is very uneven, possibly indicating subsoil disturbance. (4)
