Full Description

Footbridge carrying towpath over by-pass channel downstream of Town Lock where by-pass rejoins the Navigation. Single flat span. Angle-iron construction supporting concrete footway. Possibly part of early 1950s Navigation improvements. Replaced timber bridge shown in early engravings/photos. (1)
