Full Description

The mill was moved from Grassthorpe in 1874. The post mill continued until about 1926, but seven or so years later the buck no longer had a roof, the fantail had gone and there were no shutters on the sails. The mill was demolished in 1950, and now all that remains are the marks where it was, and a few of the beams. (1)
Shown as Windmill (Flour). (2)
See M4655 for tower mill and M18134 for earlier post mill.
