Arno Vale. (1)
Situated between between Thakeray's Lane, Saville Road and Arno Vale Road in Arnold, Arno Vale House was originally built c 1800. In the mid C19 the house was acquired and rebuilt by John Lawson Thakeray - Thakeray's Lane was named after him. The house was demolished in July 1935. (2)
