Full Description

Bilby Hall. (1)
In 1801 Francis Ferrand Foljambe bought the Bilby Estate … from Morgan Vane who had enclosed 260 acres of forest land here c. 1796. The hall was not a large one. The park and pleasure grounds contained some fine old oaks and cedars. In front of the house was an ornamental lake. The house was partially pulled down in the late C19 and converted into keepers' cottages and kennels. The stable block was also converted into cottages at the same time. (2)
