Lamcote House. (1)
A Nottingham confectioner named John Topott is believed to have built Lamcote House in the early 1800s (occupied by 1807). The house was also known as 'Sugar Plum Hall'. … Notable features included a forty foot long main hall, a west facing drawing room thirty six feet long … and eleven principal bedrooms. … The house was later divided into apartments and eventually demolished in 1980.
