Full Description

The Old Hall, of large dimensions, formerly stood near the present manor house (rebuilt 1863), and was pulled down in the late C18. Some of the materials from the Hall were used in the building of John Buckley's house (The Cedars) at Normanton Hill. A medieval stone dovecote, with C17 brick gables, which was associated with the old hall, stands in the grounds of the present manor. (2)
See M198 for new Manor, M5201 for dovecote.
