The Hall. (1)
… was a large mansion two and a half storeys high, seven bays wide, with a projecting central part on the entrance front. It was built in the late C18. … in C19 Henry Porter Sherbrooke (1810-87) enlarged the house and added large bay windows on all sides except the entrance front. … The Sherbrooke family retained possession of the Hall until 1957 when the house was demolished.
