Full Description

The linear geophysical anomalies recorded in the gradiometer survey correlate[d] with a complex pattern of intercutting ditches. One of these was associated with late Iron Age wheelmade pottery while others produced plain handmade IA pottery which could imply earlier IA origins. Insufficient of the site was excavated for its character or its full spacial extent to be established with certainty, but the quality and character of the artefactual remains suggest domestic activity.
