Full Description

The only definite archaeological feature found was the pit containing burnt and fire cracked stones. Similar features have been found in association with Burnt Mounds and on IA settlement sites. As fire-cracked pebbles were not recorded during the fieldwalking stage of the evaluation, it is not known whether there were any concentrations of burnt stone in the area. (1)
