Full Description

Trench 2 revealed a wall with an associated limestone paved surface on its E side, which may represent either the remains of a former church precinct boundary or a former building, perhaps shop premises. (1)
Medieval occupation was revealed by the presence of walls [004] and [005]. The evaluation (1) suggested this wall formed a boundary, or, as would appear more likely from the evidence found during this watching brief, shop premises. (2)
Grid ref for Trench 2.
See M3152 for church.
