Full Description

A group of three BA cremations. Four individuals were identified within the three pits, comprising two neonates, one child and one adult. The high level of truncation of the surrounding cremation burials suggests that any further burials or associated structures or earthworks such as a barrow would have been ploughed away. It is suggested that the area was either used temporarily or is located near the periphery of an area of occupation. (1)
See M18372 for BA cemetery to east, these burials are some distance away but may be associated.
