Full Description

The remains of an ice house were located partially concealed in shrubbery on the SW boundary, 56m W of the Hall. The structure comprises a semi-circular brick lined pit with brick floor, of radius 3.55m and 1m deep. The bricks are of C18 type. Steps lead up to a blocked doorway. There are no traces of the earthen mound. The icehouse appears to have been demolished before 1920 as it is not marked on the sale plan of that year. (1)
See M18395 for pre-C19 hall.
