18th century farmhouse, retaining little original plan, fixtures or fittings. Purpose built pub added to the front during the early 19th century. Subsequent alterations and additions made to both parts during the late 19th century and throughout the 20th century, with some re-arrangement of the internal layout of the rear wing throughout the first floor. Rear wing has lost its centrally placed chimney stack. Both wings in poor state of repair. The stables, probably constructed at the same time as the front of the principal building.
