Full Description

Hexagonal pillbox. Brick. Informed of the site of this pillbox by Mr Ivor Newton of Tollerton. He said that a stick of bombs fell in the area, and he was able to tell the bomb disposal unit where they fell. One unexploded bomb fell beside this pillbox. (1)
Area of destroyed land on aerial photos, grid reference centered on clearest site of potential rubble in destroyed area. (2)
NB 19 pillboxes are recorded at Tollerton airfield.
