Full Description

Tall worked celtic wheel cross set on a square plinth . Accessed by a flight of five stone steps from memorial garden. Inscriptions located on front of plinth and along dwarf wall at front of memorial garden. Set within walled memorial garden with separate small cross and plaque mounted on boundary wall. Raised lawns and flowers beds on either side of memorial. (1)
First World War memorial wheel-head cross, erected in 1927 in a walled memorial garden, with stone
memorial bench and Sherwood Foresters memorial comprising a stone cross and bronze plaque. A slate tablet was added following the Second World War to commemorate one member of the Corps who died in that conflict. (2)
