Full Description

Hexagonal base mounted by two step base and hexagonal plinth. Decorated flying buttresses support adjoining plinth on three sides. Narrow hexagonal shaft mounted decorative lantern type cross on top of capital. Constructed of sandstone. Inscriptions found on bronze plaques located on all sides of plinth. Set on a small traffic island outside St Anne's church adjacent to Newcastle Avenue. (1)
