When the gravestones in the footpath were lifted, a rectangular brick burial vault was revealed at 7.8m from the north end and 16.3m east of St Peter's Centre. It measured 1.97m x 0.97m and was oriented approximately east-west. Construction was in mortared 2 15/16-inch brick of Victorian type and the sides were two bricks thick.
