Full Description

A west-east aligned ditch crossed the northern part of Plot 7. At the eastern edge of the plot, this ditch was approximately 2.5m wide and 1m deep, containing a single fill with fragments of brick and charcoal flecks but no dateable artefacts. The ditch crossed the complete width of Plot 8. Although no terminal was observed, this feature was not apparent in Plots 9 and 10 to the east. The ditch could have been associated with the former farm, but could mark a medieval property boundary. (1)
