Full Description

A quick walkover of the field was undertaken and the stubble meant that visibility on the ground was fair. There was no obvious concentrations of any artefacts on the surface, although five small pieces of 13-14th century pottery were retrieved, which confirmed the results of the fieldwalking survey undertaken by the Bingham Heritage Trails Association. While a few artefacts were present this part of the parish doesn't appear to have been the focus of settlement at any time in the past. (1)
