Full Description

In the northernmost Plot 1 a well was uncovered 8.2m east of the road frontage and 9.4m from the northern boundary. It was cylindrical and line with mortared 2 7/8 inch brick of Victorian date. The internal diameter was 900mm. The shaft was cleared to a c3.7m and filled with concrete. The construction pit for the shaft was approximately 4.3m in diameter. (1)
