Full Description

Now demolished station building built c.1910. The main building was a single storey building of brick, built one brick thick, in Flemish bond, on a four course masonry plinth with slate roofs. Lintels above the doors and windows were of stone. The building had a roof overhanging forming a shelter over the platform, and single storey wings at each end. Part of the building appeared to be former ticket office, though the window and door into the archway had been blocked up. Other rooms in the building appear to be waiting rooms, toilets, store rooms and staff rooms. (1)
