Full Description
Demolished for retail park.
A single storey brick structure (structure 07 in TPAT report), built in English Garden Wall Bond (1:3:1) with a low-pitch slated roof. With no windows, its lower brickwork has been altered to provide for a large sliding door opening on to a sill. In situ Ruston Paxman boiler. This building was referred to as the Engineer’s Store on the 1950 plan. (1)
Brick structure (Structure 09 in TPAT report), tall single storey with gabled high slated roof. Built in English Garden Wall Bond (1:3:1); also with brick floor. Four bays long with a double-door entry at the east end, and 4 rectangular window openings on the north side. South wall is part of 08, with its round-headed window evident. The building still has a line-shaft and set of pulley-wheels. Described as 'Engineer’s Shop' on the c.1950 plan. Attached to Structure 08 MNT27064 (1)
