Full Description

Demolished - Scrub land in 2018.
Demolished large two storey brick structure in English garden wall bond (1:3:1), with dentilled eaves and a slated gabled roof (Structure 14 in TPAT report). The NE elevation has 7 openings on the first floor, the central one having been a loading door (hoist bracket remaining). There are 6 irregular spaced openings at ground floor, one being a doorway with segmental arch; four large openings on the SW side have similar arches. All other openings are round-headed. Blue brick courses run like string courses at different heights and around the arches, and both upper gables have an oculus. Stone is used in the sills and plinth. A modern lean-to extension in the NW corner partly obscures that elevation. The SE elevation is plain, with two small windows and buttresses. This elevation must have extended further at a lower level, as the corner brickwork has been rebuilt since its removal. On the c.1950 plan this building was described as housing a workshop. (1)
