Full Description

6 geotechnical pits were monitored archaeologically. Works revealed a number of Victorian cellars. Evidence of Late prehistoric/ Roman activity, significant as it’s the furthest east that such material has been identified in the Beeston area. A late 3rd- 4th century Nene valley colour coated vessel was recovered. The report contains site maps and photographs. (1)
