Full Description

Post office attatched to block of terrace houses. Extended to house next door. Front of building covered with textured rendering. (1)
OS shows that the building was built between 1900 and 1901. Probably a shop originally owing to the corner facing doorway. One side has been badly rendered and painted white while the other seems to be of the original brick. 3 storey building 1st and 2nd floor lintels and sills seem original. Has corbelled eaves and a significant ammount of decorative wooden verge. (NCC comments on 1)
Locally Listed by Ashfield District Council (ADC Ref: 652) (1).
