Originally a bank, No Frills Furniture shop has been a furniture shop since 1950s. It claims a very interesting window arrangement on the first floor. These are now UPVC. Double height shop front is consistent with its use as a furniture shop. (1)
OS map confirms building existance in 1900. Building has been rendered with no original brickwork on show. Roof covering? original slate. Original entrance bricked up. Windows on ground floor are not original. No external sign of building's past use as a bank. Building seems to have been drastically altered and appears to have little architectural interest. Is there any internal evidence of its history as a bank? OS does indicate a number of buildings on the site in 1938 rather than one building. (NCC notes -1)
