Full Description

One of Forest Street's original houses, number 17 is now derelict. (1)
1900 OS indicates a dwelling here at this time. OS 1879 also indicates a dwelling/building here before this one. Building in poor shape in need of extensive repair. Entire building seems to have been rendered and pebble-dashed at somepoint, including the chimney. Lintels covered, sills still on show are not decorative or unusual. Evidence of fire damage to front of house. Roofing material also not original. May contain internal historic features of interest and datable style.
