Full Description

Morven Park School built around 1875. Now Includes a modern building from 1996. (1)
OS dated building after 1875. Built between 1879 and 1900. Highly decorative brick building. Depicted as schools on the 1900 OS map, they seem to have kept their function. Single storey with what would appear to be original windows. Fan light above door. Clearly designed to allow the maximum ammount of light into the building. Decorative roof including original slate. Both buildings are done in the same style. Originally the left hand building much larger than the other but subsequent extentions have made the right hand side building much larger. Extensions occurred after 1938. (NCC notes on 1)
