Full Description

Dating back to the 1750s this property is often referred to as “Byron’s Rent House” because this is where his steward would come to collect rents from his tenants on a monthly basis. It is the oldest proved public house in Hucknall. (1)
Building is marked as an Inn on the 1900 OS. Ground floor has been rendered. Rest of the building has been painted/whitewashed white. Windows are all UPVC. Sills and lintels could be original stone but have been painted. Chimney still original and has original pots on. (NCC notes from 1)
