Built 1875. Architectural and historic significance. Represents 19th century cultural and religious movements. Free Methodits worshipped here before building of Methodist Church. (1)
Building pre dates 1879. Brick building. Appears to have been drastically altered at the front. Door lintel has 'PUBLIC HALL' carved into it. Windows are original. Corbelled eave. (NCC notes on 1)
