Full Description

A set of linear cropmarks south-west of Roe Wood that possibly represent a former limit of the woodland or field boundary. The cropmarks form two sides of a square aligned NNE-SSW (100m in length) and WNW-ESE (140m in length). Sanderson shows a field boundary lined with trees, but the 1st Edition County Series mapping only shows the trees. There are slight indications of a further central division running NNE-SSW. Visible on Google Earth imagery 2000,2004, 2010, 20012, 2017, 2019.
