Full Description

Mrs Kathleen M Kettle reports that while changing the soil in her greenhouse recently she discovered a barbed and tanged flint arrowhead. The soil in which it was found had been brought into the greenhouse from the garden c 2 years earlier. The area was pasture land until the house was built in 1938. (1)
Site of find indicated by Mrs Kettle at above grid ref, the arrowhead has been lost. (4)
