Full Description

As the date plaque shows, this building was built by the Stanton Ironworks Company in 1891. It was used as a Workmens Club, although it is now derelict. (1)
Not on OS map until 1900. Two storey brick, unrendered. Windows do not appear to be original. Stone lintels and sills, unadorned. Windows currently covered with mesh confirming it is uninhabited at the moment. Front of the building windows have a brick mullion. Stone string sourse running below first storey windows.
