Full Description

Area centred at above grid ref - top of Loath Hill overlooking Old Ox. Ro pottery scatter of approx 100 sherds including samian mortaria (C3-C4), colour-coated ware, Derbys ware, calcite gritted ware. (1)
The indicated site falls on level ground on the SE summit of Loath Hill. The area is still partly under sugar beet but part of the crop has been lifted. Perambulation produced no further finds and local enquiries were negative. (2)
