Cartographoc sources show this is an early C19 cottage, originally one dwelling in a larger plot. (1) Dog-tooth eaves and irregular brick bond. Now has concrete tile replacement roof and relplacment windows. Impressive moulded ridge stack. (J Buckley NCC Survey observations 25.02.21). Extended to both gable ends in the second half of the C20 and is now two separate dwellings. 1884 map shows separate outbuilding to the rear and a well located to the SW.
