Full Description

Former club and boathouse of the Nottingham Boat Club, converted in the mid 20th C to a music and events venue.

Bargeboarded gabled frontage to the riverside with mock tudor detailing ithin the gable. Set within this is a large rectunagular crest of the Nottingham Boat Club as a gold monogram over a pair of crossed oars on a blue background. Two large 3 light windows overlook a terrace also accessed by external stiars from ground level. The terrace is enclosed by a decorative wooden railing painted black and white. The building is built in brick with a slate roof. Windows and doors are modern and there are later 20th C additions to the building.

The building is notable as a music venue having played host to a large number of influential bands and artists between 1962 and 1982.
