Full Description

2 Storey stone house with timber casement windows and a plaintile roof. Single brick chimney stack on the roadside stone gable. The stone building is of two level with taller section having a south facing dormer window. Later brick gabled extension, possibly 19thC, to the north elevation. The building is enclosed by a stone wall.

4 Church Hill is one of a few remaining vernacular stone buildings in Kimberley. It appears on Shaws Map of 1857 and is identifiable on Sandersons Map of 1835 (1). It contributes to the grouping of the nearby Victorian Church and School. The stone wall forms part of a group of stone boundary walls running up Church Hill.
