Full Description
C19 Post Office (3). According to OS Maps built between 1885 (1) and 1899 (2).
Two-storey, five bay, brick-built (now painted) building. Off-centre replacement part-glazed door with large overlight. 5 multi-pane timber windows to the first-floor door and 4 windows (all with painted stone headers and sills). Decorative eaves and decorative band running in line with upper storey window sills. Slate roof with one gable end chimney stack and one ridge stack. East gable end has central narrow multi-pane windows to both floors. Now a bed and breakfast. (4)
