Full Description
Demolished in 2017/18, 1882 OS map shows a substantial building with separate outbuilding. Annotated as Forge Cottage it was possibly a Smithy. Street View shows a large two-storey outbuilding: to the ground floor were at least four arched openings, probably looseboxes for horses. It had a hipped roof covered in natural slate with a ridge chimney stack and large separate chimney to the rear. It was of high quality with moulded eaves and stone window sills.
